i got the coolest thing in the mail today. of course, i ordered it on etsy, from a shop called field and seal. it's tiny little delicate handmade paper beads--one set with a small story on them and the other blue with gold accents. not only are they fabulous in and of themselves, but the way they came packaged, in distressed brown paper and attached to a lovely card with a small story on it made even opening them a delight.
just what i needed on this day where i've been feeling a bit blah. beautiful things, even when they are small, do have the capacity to promote happiness.
