it's another glorious spring day in denmark. there is a slight breeze, but otherwise, blue skies and sunshine. we took advantage of the beautiful weather and ate lunch outside. a big bowl with a salad of tender spring asparagus, spicy chunks of chorizo, some squares of manchego, a handful of chopped wild garlic leaves gathered in the forest, chopped small plum tomatoes and a sprinkling of macadamia nuts all tossed together with a miso-honey dressing. we just took three forks, some good bread and all ate out of the big bowl, washing it down with apple cider (sabin) and organic white wine (mama and far). a glorious sunday lunch

"a handful of chopped wild garlic leaves gathered in the forest,"
I hope the rest of your Sunday is as peaceful, as appetising, as enviable.
When I can grab handfuls of home-spun garlic from the woods nearby, I'll know I've made it. What a perfectly beautiful scene.
Wow...that looks absolutely delicious!! All I had for lunch today was macaroni...bummer.
