and we have a floor!

husband laid the last floorboards in the kitchen today. he's such a keeper.

i think he may have left all that junk in the floor

doesn't he look happy with the big sander?

i've been painting the island.
i'm not done yet.

oak totally rocks.
it's gonna be beautiful!
and totally worth the pain and suffering.
