filching friday: yellow lensbabies

tracey on prickly pear bloom has been having a yellow week. although i didn't play along all week (having only stumbled onto it today), i thought i'd post the yellows i took yesterday as i experimented with my new lensbaby and a +4 macro.

all pix from my own garden...

the original lensbaby is a super fun lens which forced me off "automatic" and i actually really learned a lot about my camera!

  1. So yellow and summery and warm. Just what I need to cheer up this cold winter evening.

  4. ooh wow julie! a lemon tree?? i would love that so very much!!! i know how exciting it i can be to be forced off that auto mode and find out "wow! i really can take pictures!" these came out fantastic. i already went over to her site and moaned inwardly at the thought of another place i would love to go to everyday but won't be able to since i already want to spend half the day visiting blogs :) the lens baby blur works good with these.

It's great that you are getting a little adventurous with your camera. I have yet to venture outside of auto mode...but maybe now...:)

    Enjoy your weekend...

  8. Wow, you have a lemon tree! That reminds me of my grandparent's house in California.

    Thanks for playing with yellow!
