contrasts

just saw this on the front page of nytimes.com 
i believe i don't even need to comment, the contrast is so obvious.
and such a relief.
in every way imaginable.

  1. Soon it'll be back to the ranch and hopefully no memoirs published and he will disappear, along with his milquetoast spouse. I don't even want to type his name anymore.

    January 20 can't come soon enough.

  4. tangobaby--it is scary to read about the kind of environmentally-damaging measures the shrub is trying to push into place before he leaves. two months does seem like an awfully long time.

    brenda--evolution indeed. i like thinking of it that way!

    robert--i am definitely enjoying it. and in all honesty, haven't really thought about how long it will be...for those troops and their families, i hope it's not a drawn-out protracted process, but in reality it probably will be.
