because of that ski game

i've been lurking on amazon.com, trying to score a Wii fit whenever they get them in stock (rather than buying one at an outrageous price from some of their other vendors), but it seems that the time zone gods conspire against me and i'm never there at the right time. and i so, so, so want to play that skiing game that you can play if you have a Wii fit.

and then, i noticed on twitter that magpie is GIVING away a Wii fit! in these tough economic times what better way to acquire such a marvelous piece of technology than by winning one! it's genius!

and so i imagine all of the things i could do if i won magpie's Wii fit...

1. get in shape in the new year (eternally a resolution, seldom accomplished).
2. play that skiing game.
3. spend more time doing something fun with my child.
4. possibly cause myself injury (since i hurt myself bowling on the Wii).
5. perhaps need a trip to the emergency room (but who cares, what else am i paying all those taxes for?)...
6. getting my money's worth on my taxes!
7. be like my sister, who already has one.
8. win something for a change.
