I recognise that expression, I see it reflected in the monitor when I've got twenty layers open and been too idle to name them. What the hell's that one do!!
I love the meditative nature of weaving. To me it's very Zen-like, getting into the rhythm of the shuttle going back and forth. But I confess I have no patience for dressing the loom. Hence, I'm a failed weaver. *sigh*
I wove at camp one time. I really enjoyed it. I wish I could go back and do it again because right now, I fear it would be one more distraction and I don't want it to be a distraction.
Hey! I have a great idea. You can do it. And don't let it be a distraction for you. And I will feel...better.
wow, um wow! that is a big commitment! can you rent the looms ;) I do know what you mean. I have sat at one and had a pro at my elbow. It is amazing - instant gratification. Looking forward to see what comes of this (are you sure you aren't just jet lagged?)

we have a weaver's society here and they do such beautiful work, even spinning their own yarn.
