now THAT's a windmill! |
we drove past this windmill yesterday and i fell in love. i believe i've mentioned before how much i want to live in one. i'll bet we could get this one for a song since it's a bit of a fixer-upper. hmm, i wonder whether our architect would approve the purchase?
Is the mill close to your new place?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the first step should be to adopt your polish guy because if I remember correctly you already have renovationplans for the next ten years. So you need an additional familymember(s)to get the work done.
But I have to admit it would be a great Blue Mill.
Have a great weekend.
i think you could build one from scratch for the cost of renovating that one. but....i bet you could get a deal on the reclaimed wood there.
ReplyDeletesuch an interesting subject and a great photo...
ReplyDeleteOh that is a amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou would truly have to have the Don Quixote mindset to think you could fix up that one!
ReplyDeleteI would hope that I could outbid you on this one :)
ReplyDeleteit is FANTASTIC !
Definitely a fixer-upper! Yet, so intriguing!
ReplyDeleteJust imagine how magnificent it must have looked when it was turning!
ReplyDeletewow, I looooove it! Those pieces on the inside are huge! They are just hanging there! That owuld be a great place for a photo shoot!

Crazy pic, did you take it?
ReplyDeletePS: Just read your 'about me' -- I love Röyksopp, too. Especially "Happy up here." Totally addicting in a good way.
wow! i am sure - with patience and lots of money - it could become the perfect windmill home.
ReplyDeleteThis is incredibly majestic in its decay.
ReplyDeleteYes, Suecae Sounds! majestic decay! That is a very visual description! The cogs inside all tilted, crazy!
ReplyDeleteI love that you can see its gears.
