if your husband paid 11,000DKK (more than $2000) for a pile of wood that looked like this?
but also this (and included those big metal roof plate thingies - 9 of them)..
would you feel justified in adding to your fabric stash?
as you may have guessed, this actually happened to me.
Interesting, and what are the plans for this wood?? My hubby just bought a truck and he is wondering why I am buying a new toaster oven. Too funny.....
ReplyDeleteI'd be wondering what great thing he was going to build. I've always wanted to be a carpenter. If I had another life to live, that is.
ReplyDeleteI see he stickered the wood pile, very good.
ReplyDeletethink big...think long term...and while you're thinking...get thee to Fabric Worm ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteOh you lucky dawg! A husband who builds things! Nice.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing my loving husband can do as far as being handy is change light bulbs.
Sigh.............go ahead and buy all the fabric you want....
Oh, I’d be so tempted to hijack a few pieces, split them into smaller, longer, irregular pieces around the knots, sand them down, paint a colourful stripe here and there and varnish them and sign them and sell them at a gallery. (Just saying)
ReplyDeleteI really don't know what I wood do.
ReplyDeletehee.
is there an occasion that doesn't call for adding to said fabric stash? :) so the answer is....but of course.
ReplyDeletei would like to note that i did not add to the fabric stash. a display of remarkable restraint, even if i do say so myself. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere are some things in your life that just make me smile.
ReplyDeleteAdd to the fabric statsh!
Yes! but the wood is beautiful....cedar?....smiles.
