farvel og tak


i have for some time been wrestling with a difficult decision. 14-odd blogs, 1299 followers, 1467 posts and i have decided to call it quits. i simply can no longer find the spark that once drove me to blog, so this will be my final post.

i thank you all for the friendship, the community, and the good times we had together. it was a good run, but like all good things, they must come to an end.

    I woke up with a splitting headache, read this, took a tylenol and came back. april fools joke, yes? I was digging out my passport, booking a flight and coming to Denmark! Nothing like a zinger first thing in the morning:) :) :)

    I like many others here had a physical, as well as emotional, reaction to this. Goodness... I love April Fools day and I hope you do too. As much as I think I "know" you from following your blog, I think that you love a good joke!

    This reminds me of Bilbo's goodbye to the Shire at his birthday party. This is not a bad thing that it reminds me of that.

    Although I'd selfishly love if you continued, your days seem so gorgeously full that it seems a pity to take time out from them for the PC.

    oh and because i'm annoyed I went and googled farvel ok tak and saw that it translated to 'goodbye and thank you'....THAT'S HOW YOU'RE GOING TO GO OUT???!!! It's a sad, sad day I tell you...
