step away from the internet...and live

a new vantage point
a different vantage point
as you may have guessed, the weather's been glorious here. what with finishing the greenhouse, couchsurfers (good ones), and a lot of new activity surrounding our horse since we moved her to the stable, plus baking about a zillion little bite-sized red velvet cupcakes, i have not found myself in front of the internet for a few days. but i'm not going to apologize, because sometimes we have to just get out there and live.

the fabulous gwen is arriving in a few hours and i have three little girls who have been at the pool all day to make burgers for, plus a few last-minute preparations for tomorrow's market, so i'll wish you all a good weekend.

  2. It is amazing how much time can easily slide by when the computer is on....enjoy the down time.

  3. We are in the process of putting up a greenhouse in our backyard, not because of poor weather, we live in San Diego, but because my husband wants winter tomatoes.

    I also love your snails.

  4. I feel a sense of freedom when I have been away from the computer -- that I'm actually part of life. I'm taking that a step further and leaving facebook...I'll still blog and keep in touch with friends, but I know I was spending too much time there...this will be good for me in so many ways.

comments are the new black. so be trendy and leave one.

what is, however, not trendy, is if your comment contains an ad or a link to a spam website. those, like white shoes after labor day, will be deleted.
