let me count the ways:
~ friday evenings are my favorite meal of the week. i always make bread and a variety of yummy things to put on bread. some of our favorites are here.
~ there's nearly always time to sneak in half an hour for a cup of special coffee and a bit of reading. (today it was hazelnut-cinnamon and murakami).
~ the luxury of the entire weekend stretching ahead.
~ and putting the week behind you, behind you.
~ a glass of wine while cooking dinner.
happy weekend one and all, it's time to go bake the bread.

Of course it was an over site ... this is SuperBowl Weekend ... and beside loafs of bread, there's a need for large trays of snacks... and beverages. Go Team Go!
Amen sister. On the patio with a g&t, kids in the bath, husband just walked in with steak. Yay Friday!

Ah yes, the weekend lies before us. Just now I walked downstairs, after having put the children in the shower. I took a sip of my wine and sighed a big sigh. "It's weekend".
