i'm fast becoming a bit enamored of cows. i spotted these scottish highlanders today. i think i could have convinced this one to follow me home. i don't know what scottish highlanders are known for (beef? milk? their "wool?"), but i want one anyway.
As soon as I saw these photo's I was thrilled because the Scottish Highland Breed is popular in this area. Many Scotch immigrants maintain small herds. They even bring them to public events, including our annual Fall Highland Games to introduce the breed. The ones I have met are friendly and calm. Thank You. I missed the games this year.
In the words of Agnes in the movie Despicable me: "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die! It's so fluffy!" I think I would have tried to convince it to come home with me...
I grew up in Scotland and this has brought back some fond memories. Beautiful..shot :D
