what is google thinking?

i am saddened by the news that google is shutting down google reader on the first of july, but watching this at least made me able to laugh about it:

any suggestions as to what to use to feed my flipboard? i tried bloglovin' for awhile, but somehow i didn't really click with it.

  2. I'm not to the point of laughing about this yet. [Ever?] I like Google Reader because it is simple + useful. Which, apparently, is what doomed it. *meh*

  4. I couldn't believe it either and judging from the outcry of the blogging world not that few of us are using Google reader either! Loved the video, though being able to understand the German they're talking and reading the subtitles which are completely different really screws with your head :-)
    I tried signing up with feedly but they're site was down because of too many new users!

  5. @Sammi - I'm trying Feedly and like it so far. It takes your Google Reader feed and they say they've developed a seamless transition so when Google Reader goes, they'll just continue it - they even transferred my GR categories.

    @tidytipsy - I wondered if that wasn't the case. :-) Hilarious!

comments are the new black. so be trendy and leave one.

what is, however, not trendy, is if your comment contains an ad or a link to a spam website. those, like white shoes after labor day, will be deleted.
