rules to break
there is this danish ritual of politeness that mandates that when you arrive at a meeting or a party, you go around and shake hands with everyone who is present, saying your name if the people are new. i never get used to it and it still makes me incredibly uncomfortable. in fact, it makes me wish i were invisible. with one particular meeting, i try to get there early so that there's only a couple of people to shake hands with, then it's up to everyone else to come to me. it's a cultural convention that my very being resists.
do you break rules?

Thank you! I'm not big on the handshake thing either and have been known to tell people that I have a cold when they try to shake mine. Sometimes that's true, in that I do have a cold. In addition, I'm not one to hug people who are not members of my direct family.
I take photos into the sun every chance I get.
And I'm loving this series - the thoughts, the typing and the mini-figures of course!
